We weren't taught how to lead a life full of regret and sadness. We weren't taught to calculate the time
period of happiness that we feel before the sadness would creep in, so we'd be ready for what was
about to hit us. We weren't taught to calculate the area of lonely that we have to live in, let alone call it
our 'home' every day. We weren't taught that when there is an 'X' in your life it is very much important
that instead of making the equation suitable enough for them, we should just leave because they aren't
what we need. Not psychically at least. We weren't taught going over history only brings back pain,
unwanted pain, which seeps through every cell of your body which is very much irreplaceable. We
weren't taught that the geology of a place can bring back twice as many and memories compared to the
good ones. Maybe be going back there was not so smart after all. We weren't taught that Lorenzo and
Jessica had an ideal kind of love story. Too good to be true. Hoping for something like that in this
generation is quite the nail to the coffin. We weren't taught to create a program for broken hearts and
disfigured minds. We weren't taught that sometimes running, can actually help for while before you
have to back to face all the undone.
What we were taught is how to put on a fake smile even if you're sad because that's what you got to do
to be accepted. We were taught to concentrate on things which are important but at some point in your
life you're going to want more than just an empty, luxurious house to live. You're going to want
someone to talk to. Someone to hold your hand, someone to hug you. Someone to tell you 'it's all going
to be alright.' But now you have sabotaged all of that because you never taught to face your feelings. All
those words you wrote in your papers, were you taught what power those words held in them?? Were
you taught how to really use your words like that? Actions might hurt, but have you ever been verbally
slapped? Have you ever felt words stab you in the back? Words can pierce you, through and through
like an M995. The words that leave your mouth are like a hand grenade, it's only time before it explodes
all the good things around you. Did anyone ever teach you that your mind is a dangerous place? That
residing in your mind for too long is something you don't want to do and before you know you'll be
enclosed within the damp dark dungeons of your own mind. Were you ever taught to stop thinking
unnecessarily, to stop procrastinating? Were you ever told that your own thoughts could smother you?
Were you ever taught that just like words,
your mind is a ticking bomb waiting to go off? Were you ever told that you held all the power and
subtlety of a hand grenade? That, that pin in the grenade was only a messed up thought away???
